Savor chilled elegance with the Rosa Margarita Granita. A holiday delight that transforms the classic Margarita into a refreshing and sophisticated frozen sip, perfect for festive celebrations.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 ½ Cup Water 
  • ½ Cup Granulated Sugar 
  • Zest Grated from 2 Limes 
  • ½ Cup Fresh Lime Juice, Roughly from 4-5 Limes 
  • 2-3 tbsp. Calirosa ‘Rosa Blanco’ Tequila 
  • 1 tbsp. Cointreau 
  • ½ tbsp. Creme de Cassis, for the color 
  • Garnish: Lime Zest 

DIRECTIONS:

  • In a large saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil.
  • Whisk until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and whisk in the lime zest, lime juice, tequila, cointreau and crème de cassis.
  • Refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour.
  • Strain to separate the lime zest from the liquid.
  • Freeze until firm for at least 4 hours or over-night.
  • With a fork, scratch the surface of the frozen liquid to make your “granita”.
  • Serve it as a dessert as a refreshing, light way to end you holiday meal.
